| There failed to used to be as many decisions in building
materials as there are today.
Something was either made from wood, metal or stone.
Materials needed to be cropped or mined and then fashioned into
whatever shape wanted to construct the completed product. Today
it is much different. New, artificial and composite materials
are cropping up everywhere and are turning out to be not only a
reasonable alternative to natural materials, but one that makes
like a bit less complicated. How Fake Wood is created Fake
essentially means that it's not real or real. When referring to
wood, it suggests that though it isn't real wood, it appears to
be just like it. However, that is where the commonality ends.
It may look just like real wood, which is naturally the
required look, but it behaves extremely differently. The
pretend wood employed in shutters is essentially a polyurethane
material. In short it's a truly robust plastic. This
compressed, synthetic material is consistent from the interior
out. This has great significance when being employed to make
shutters. Shutters are usually cut to size to fit into specific
window measurements.
Due to this, a raw edge is left on the top or bottom.
With real wood, the cut edge would have to be refinished
either painted or stained to match the face of the shutter.
With fake wood, the material is similar from the core out.
