Many of us are guilty of overlooking our bathrooms. We
use it as a functional room and pay very little attention to
it. That is just not good enough.
It look like you will have to dress up that large frameless
mirror. You can hang swags of fabric from hooks to soften the
edges of the mirror, and to give it a “frame”. Or you can
actually use cut lengths of 1x4 lumber, and attach them to the
wall to simulate a real wood frame. You can also paint or stain
them as well to coordinate with your cabinets.
What next? Paint the entire room, including the ceiling a
deep, rich color. Even though this is a tiny room, deep color
on the walls allows them to fade away, and at once makes the
room cozy and appear more spacious.
There you go. Get rid of all the clutter now! If you can’t
get most of the stuff under the sink, pick up a few baskets
from the dollar shop and corral them in. Make sure there is
also a hamper. If you are short on space, then use the kind
that hangs on the back of the door. A large drawstring bag
would work for this also.
That is not difficult at all is it.
